Brief Description: Left Wing Service Bulletin (SB 14-11-03)
Started working on the service bulletin (SB 14-11-03) for the left wing). Carefully removed the inboard 20 rivets attaching the W-1201-L inboard wing skin to the flange of the W-1206A-L spar assembly and the single indicated rivet attaching there skin to the W-1210 main rib per the directions in the SB. I didn't have a punch the right side, but using a mandrel from the left over pulled rivets worked well to drive out the mandrel from each of the installed rivets. Then drilling out the rivets was easy. Next step is to match drill the holes, and I already had a #22 size drill bit from the right wing. I used the chip chaser to clean out anything that may have gotten caught in between the skins. The effort went a little faster this time.
