Brief Description: Mounted side brackets on center section (20-05)
Another small set back in time as well and money...The plans required cherrymax rivets to attach the side brackets, which looks like a change since the original plans. Of course these particular cherry max rivets (CR3213-4-5) don't work with either the pneumatic puller or the hand puller...stem was too short to grab inside the pullers. So I only saw one choice...order another tool (CHERRY® G-28 HAND RIVETER GUN). Aircraft Spruce delivered it very fast and it worked great. I saw some complaints on the web about the stem left sticking out, but all broke off flush. Section 20 is now complete. I think I'll bring the other wing over and complete the service bulletin before moving to the next section on the fuselage.
