Brief Description:  Center Section Assembly (20-03)

During construction I failed to read the instructions correctly and counter sunk the holes indicated for AN470AD4-8 instead of just the holes assigned for AN426AD4-8. I made my first setup hole and just kept going. I looked ahead and it looks like the counter sunk rivets are in the area of the fuel tank so it can go right up to the center section assembly. I sent a note off to Vans to see if it would be acceptable to just use the AN426AD4 across all the holes. After a long winded question and explanation to Vans, I got the simple reply back from Ken Scott: "The CS rivets should be fine...", so I went forward with it. Since I would be using more rivets than was supplied, I had to order more. I ordered both AN426AD4-8 and 4-9, since the 4-8 looked like they may be a little on the short side.
Lesson learned, make sure to read and re-read the instructions. Someone suggested going through and highlighting the important notes before proceeding with a given section. I'll try to do that from now on.
