It was a nice day, but not much time to spend on the plane. I finished up preparing the trail edge skins and managed to set all the rivets. I almost gave up for the night when I tried to set the most trail edge rivets on the underside. The opposite rivet interferes with setting it all the way down in place prior to setting the rivet. I knew about this in advance so I used the hand puller an applied pressure in hopes that it would slide down flush before the rivet set. No joy on the first try, so I drilled it out and tried more pressure. It worked the second time, but leaves a little dimple...good thing it's on the underside. The rest came out ok, but I had to drill out the last one again and re-set it. All is good and now I can move onto the nose skins...but not today.
