Brief Description: Drilled Counterbalance leading edge holes (18-03)
The drill press works fairly well, but I still burned up another bit. Once it gets dull it wants to slide off center. I may try some different techniques with the right side assembly. Anyway, it's done for now and the fit-up checks good.
Update: For the right side it worked much better to use my punch to mark the center of the hole and provide a starting point for a smaller bit size on the drill press (3/32"), then follow up with the #30 size bit. I chucked both up fairly close to minimize bit flex and lots of cutting fluid. This worked out real well on the right side and the holes line up nicely.
