Brief Description: Attachin more nose ribs - left wing (15-05)
I was confused as I watch my video and read the manual (section 15-05) where it calls out the W-1208-R rib. It incorrectly notes that inboard rib should have 3 nut plates. After some research I found out that the manual was in error and it should only be one nut plate. The video is also out dated. I'm surprised that Vans hasn't updated the page yet, but I got the info I needed from another builders web site.
The other challenge here was that the space is really tight...even for the hand puller. I had to use some interesting techniques to rivet the aft flange on these ribs...especially the last three, where the flange is fairly deep in the spar. I did manage to pinch my finger in the puller, which was a little painful to say the least....oh well, probably the first of many war wounds on this build. Looks like I need to touch up the ribs in a few places as well.
