Working at a slower pace these days to wrap up the Empennage details like the servo tray. I'm holding off on attaching the HS and VS until later in the build so I can store it more easily. I made an attempt to final size the .25" bushing holes for the servo tray, but the drill took too big of a bite and bent the assembly as well as make a nice oversized hole. I place an order for another part...only $7.50, but the mistakes are adding up. I think I will try clamping on a piece of wood underneath and use the drill press. I may even try stepping up in hole sizes until I get a little closer to .25. Also, looking ahead, looks like I need a Vernier caliper to check the thickness of the bushing...I'm always looking for excuses to buy some new tools.
Wing kit should be shipping in the next couple of days and here before the end of July.
