Brief Description: Drill nut plate holes and hinge brakets (09-04)
Completed all the steel hole drilling for the upper and lower horns and for the balance arm. The new 3/16 cobalt drill bits worked great, then I just followed up with the #12 drill bit I had. Next moved on to creating the holes for the nut plates for the horns. This went well, but I had little trouble later on when I had to set the rivets. Since I had positioned them so close to the flange radius (because this is what it looked like in the manual picture), it created a little crimp or dent in the edge next to the rivet. I now wished I had rotated them more to keep it away from the edge.
