Finished up the rudder skeleton and attaching the skin. This went much smoother than the vertical stabilizer. All the holes lined up great. You have to hand it to VANS on the design of this kit.
I've decided to prime all the ribs, spars and associated hardware so that for any metal to metal contact at least on surface is primed. No plan to prime the inside of the skins unless I have scratches. I did prime the inside of the overlap of the leading edge of the rudder, so that one surface would have protection.
Looks like I don't get to attach it to the VS until later, although I was tempted to try and fit it up again, just to see parts moving together. For now I'll just keep matching through the manual in order.
Also started prepping the anti-servo tabs. Should be ready to start riveting again Monday unless it's too cold again.
