It's been awhile since I last updated my log...the weather has been below zero most evening and the shop is just too cold. I did manage to get out last Saturday and purchase a compressor. I went the cheap HF route, but I did buy the warrantee just in case, based on the mixed reviews. I installed it in the basement on a dedicated circuit, which I had to run across the entire length of the basement. The fuse box and the garage are at opposite ends of the house (of course). I ran an airline into the garage to a hose reel and that is working out great. I haven't had issues so far and with the compressor in the basement we can't here it running in the house or out in the shop...sweet.
