Brief Description:  Started riveting VS skin (06-07)

It was a fairly productive day. I pulled all the rivets out from the previous days fit check and went to work on grinding down the tips of the ribs. They were causing the leading edge to buckle around the edge. Then I smoothed out the edges and primed those areas. Once that dried, I was able to check the fit again and get one side complete with clecos, and flip it over to check for interferences and hole alignment. Everything looked good so I continue on until the entire skin was clecoed into place.
Now the fun part, so I thought, the riveting time. Even though the holes lined up and the clecos went in and out smoothly, the holes were still very tight for the rivets. My thumb is still numb on the end from pushing rivets in, but one in the pneumatic puller made it easy to set the rivet.
One side done and so am I, for the night...or should I say early morning.
