All the ribs have been installed, drilled to the proper size, and the elevator cut out started. I like all builders could not find instructions and building sequence for the elevator cut out. It was not difficult, a dremel tool helped a lot. I am going to fill in the opening at the cut out even though the builders guide says its not necessary. My hope is this will give it a more finished look and add a knot or 2 to the speed because of reduced turbulence and drag. This is optimistic I know but with some of the other speed tweaks I plan every little bit helps.
