Brief Description: Bonuses of Life & Horizontal Stabilizer
Bonuses of life: this last weekend I was able to have Lunch with Sonny Webster www.mykitlog.com/sonmanav8/ a fellow Zodiac 650 Airplane Builder. We have been communicating for several months via email. We are both building the same plane with the same engine. Lunch was a great time of sharing experiences, AirVenture, and knowledge. Sonny is about 2 years ahead of me in the process and his website has been an inspiration and resource.
My new shop is set up and I've started to pull the parts together to build the stabilizer. The process is much easier when the parts are already bent and drilled.
It's not that I have been inactive, but moving the shop. unpacking the kit, and attending Airventure have taken my time over the last month.
We were notified of Paul Pobernozy's passing today, a man I admired but never had the chance to meet. I wish his family well as they work through the next weeks and months of making adjustments to the new normal.
