Brief Description:  Installing Capacitive Fuel Quantity Sender (RH)

Continued RH Fuel Tank Capacitive Sender Plate installation. Checked fit between rib and outter Sender Plate inside tank skin to ensure clearance of at least 3/16" between the plate and fuel tank stiffeners. Clearance check OK.

Drilled the T-813 RH Inboard Fuel Sender Plate to the most inboard interior tank rib. Refered to DWG OP-7 View B-B. Used the pre-punched holes in the plate as a guide to drill #20 holes and elarged them to 1/4" in rib only.

Attached the nutplates to Inboard Sender Plate using pre-punched holes as guide. Refered to DWG OP-7 Detail E for nutplate and rivet callouts, orientation, and installation details.

Cut a piece of 18 AWG wire to 48". Stripped one end and installed a wire terminal. Attached the terminal end of the wire to the outboard sender plate. Installation of terminal suggested to be both soldered and crimped for added durability. Tested the security of the wire to terminal connection by applying an approximate of 20 lb. pull test load.

Refered to DWG OP-7 Fuel Tank Top View for attachment hardware and installation details.
Refered to View A-A to orient the terminal relative to the outboard sender plate.
