In order to remove the "pillowing" along the overlapping Leading Edges of RH & LH elevators, a series of new blind rivets were placed between existing blind rivets. After realizing not much could be done to remove the pillowing, and in order to avoid moisture buildup that could lead to corrosion issues, I decided to reverse the order in which both elevators skins were closed together at the LE, having to remove all the blind rivets and closing the skins top over bottom, resolving as well the pillowing issues.
