Brief Description:  Riveting the Left Elevator

Riveted E-703 to E-704.
Riveted E-703/E-704 subassembly to E-702 Elevator Spar.
Rivet E-713 Counterbalance Skin to E-701 Elevator Skin with two rivets on the top and two on the bottom to eliminates the need for blind rivets.

Placed E-714 Lead Counterweight nested inside E-713 with screws loosely and partially inserted.
Placed Permatex Ultra Black RTV daubs on skin stiffener tips right before closing the Elevator Skin on the Elevator Spar.

Inserted the elevator skeleton into E-701-L/E-713
Clecoed and partially riveted E-701-L Elevator Skin and E-713, leaving the top and bottom inboardmost areas open in order to install the Elevator Trim Riblets and the Electronic Trim Servo.

Made a 7/16" hole on the R-702 Elevator Spar using the lightening hole of the WD-605-1-L Elevator Horn, then installed a Snap Bushing to route the Electronic Trim Servo wires instead of using the existing Jack Screw Hole on the E-702 Elevator Spar to avoid contact of such wires with the Jack Screw movement.

Finished by attaching E-714 Lead Counterweight to 25 In.-Lb. torque and applied yellow Torque Seal marks on screws, washers, and nuts.
