Had a big day finally attaching the empennage to the fuselage. Ended up doing the join by myself which took some creative thinking, but it happened. Everything lined up very well and I got most of the rivets in place. The toughest rivets are the baggage ribs to the F-01406 bulkheads. Had to work out some interesting anglesand various size bucking bars to make it work. Not as pretty as I would have liked, but complete and structurally sound. Had some help from a neighbor to get some of the rivets on the bottom skin. Unfortunately as it happens when getting novice help, the bucking bar slipped and put a slight puncture in the bottom skin. It is small enough that I will drill a #30 hole, dimple, and fill with a rivet. Will likely never notice since it is on the bootom of the airplane. Will finish the vertical lap joint tomorrow which should finish out section 30.
