Brief Description:  Fwd Fuselage Lower Structure

Assembly of this portion became more difficult than expected. I tried to back rivet as much as possible, but the lower skin is so thick that it was difficult to get a tight fit against the backrivet plate. This caused more proud rivet head than I would of liked and I had to drill out a few to get them close to flat. I also had a couple issues with drilling them out so a few Oops rivets had to make their way onto the plane. Another issue I saw was it looks like the right tunnel cover lower flange did not have clean holes from the factory even though it was listed as an RV-14 specific part. A couple dimples showed some cracks / imperfections around where the dimple was made. Luckily they will be easily visible in the cockpit to if any progress to actual cracks it should be noticed rather quickly. Hopefully they all stay put and don't propegate. I had to stop at the passenger side heater inlet since the lower cover that I bought early from the FWF kit had to have an RTV gasket put in place. Once that dries I'll continue with the build.
