Brief Description:  Firewall

Riveted the top portion of the firewall without issue. After riveting I noticed in picture 3 that one of my firewall pass-thru's had an unexpected interference with the top support bar. To rectify the issue I drilled 2 new #19 holes just below the holes that interfered and will fill the two open holes with proseal on the backside and firewall 2000+ on the front side. Lots of measuring and planning but when you plan clearence based on only 1 of the 2 stuctural angles on the firewall then sometimes things don't come out right. Tougher to fix it now that the firewall is vertical, but oh well.

I also made the initial trace of the holes needed on the .005 SS shimstock that I will use to sandwich the fiberfrax. Cutting the shimstock was easy with a pair of tin snips and fiberfrax was cut with a regular scissors. I'll see about drilling holes in the shim stock during the next session. Hopefully it is just as easy as cutting with the tin snips.
