Finished deburring the skins and cleaned / alodined all the small parts for section 26. Still need to alodine the main skins, but will get to that. After alodine I modified some of the baggage ribs as seen in picture 2 for K1000-3 nutplates that will hold baggage tiedown rings. Took some layout, but with this small amount of planning I should be able to tiedown any baggage or place an elastic net in the baggage area. The tiedowns will go through my baggage compartment carpet and also hold down the corners of the carpet during aerobatics (multi-purpose). I then continued per the instruction on section 26-2. Will continue tomorrow, but this thing should start looking like an airplane pretty quickly.
