Started section 25 with all the usual removal of plastic, seperating, and deburring. Quickly realized I didn't have bulkhead F-01403. Looked at the inventory and it had been deleted. Not sure why Van's deleted it, but I am sure it was a mistake which will be rectified shortly. Unfortunately now I have to wait for a rather large bulkhead to be manufactured and delivered. Rather frustrating. I continued section 25 wherever I could and managed to screw up another piece by countersinking #30 holes on 2 of the 4 F-01450 bearing brackets. Going to have to re-order those on tuesday when Van's opens. Otherwise I cut, alodined, and assembled as much of section 25 as possible. On to section 26.
Of note, I really like the alumiprep / alodine process for the smaller pieces of metal. I may still end up spraing wash primer on skins, but dipping small pieces is significantly easier than the whole wash prime process on the tight corners of the small pieces.
