Finished up with the wing tips by installing them and trimming the piano wire to fit. Secured the piano wire from creeping with two small pieces of piano hinge screwed into a mounted nutplate. Really effective.
Continued with installation of the electric aileron trim on the right wing. Pretty straight forward installation except that the springs are pretty forceful when extended 6 inches and rather difficult to get hooked up. Verified no rubbing on the pursh-pull tube except for a very tiny touch where it connects to the tube, but based on the design I don't think that is possible to completely eliminate.
Also modified the GA-36 GPS antenna mount on the left to accept a GA-57X GPS antenna mount (cheaper and with XM if desired). I also drilled the GA-35 GPS antenna mount for the antenna which will come with the GTN 650. Dimpled and plan to back rivet the doubler plate tomorrow.
