It took quite a bit of time to drill the SS counterweight rod into the nose of the airleron. I also broke 3 deburr bits and a #27 drill bit trying to drill and deburr the SS. Really difficult to get the chips out of the middle of a tube. Ended up canting the shaviv deburr bit to get it done, but at the expense of 3 bits being snapped in half (wear gloves). I also had to remember when drilling through AL to Steel go with a slow rotation speed on the drill and lots of pressure, otherwise your hole in the AL will be enlarged. Luckily the final drilling of a #30 size eliminated 90% of the elongation on my leading edge. Continued with the assembly to mark and drill the trailing edge. Will finish up countersinking the trailing edge wedge tomorrow. Its coming together.
