That was a LOT of countersinks. Long hard day and I am sore. Countersinking the #40 holes was simple, but exhausting. I modified the plans a bit for the screw hole countersinks. Rather than installing the nutplates first I used a 5/32 countersink for the fuel tank attach holes and a #30 countersink for the access plate attach holes. The access plate attach holes also needed to be final drilled with a #27 bit (which is not called out in the plans). That drilling is called out much later during bottom skin attachment which in my opinion is way to late. Had one hole that elongated during countersinking, but since it will have a dimple nested inside I am not too worried. I may end up adding some bondo and re-drilling, but we will see. Also taped up the wing spars for priming. Just need to clean / scuff and throw it in the paint booth.
