Brief Description:  Empennage Fairings

Spent the first 2 hours finishing up some electrical wiring in the empennage. Twisted the 22 AWG power and ground wire for the Magnetometer that will now be mounted in the aft fuselage and moved the rudder trim wire into the empennage. Once that was complete I was able to crimp on some pins and finish zip tieing the wiring along the designated tracks.

Spent the second half of the day sanding the Epoxy to fit the upper rudder. The Epoxy work seemed to come out pretty good. One thing I noticed is that if you want a smooth surface without any little holes you need to put down more flox than normal to then sand it smooth. Once sanded I removed the tape and blind riveted the upper rudder fairing in place. Then taped the area for some work on the lower rudder fairing which will be completed once the temperatures warm up.
