Brief Description:  Yaw Trim

Finalized installation of the yaw trime. The push pull rod exit hole in the rudder took a lot of trial and error to get the fit right. Also, the trim horn on the piano hinge had to be modified to allow full range of travel.

I also tried unsuccessfully for a hour or two trying to fabricate the push rod exit fairing without success. Note to self, don't try to heat the aluminum, it just melts. Ended up buying some pre-formed cable fairings off aircraft spruce and will finish the rudder assembly next weekend when they arrive.

Started gathering up the horizontal stabilizer parts and deburred some of the edges and lightning holes. Will finish deburring the smaller part edges next time and begin assembly of the HS until the rudder fairings arrive.
