Brief Description:  Primed/sealed forward fuse floor and firewall.

Before I spray on the QuietCar I wanted to seal the floor to prevent the chance of water or other stuff causing corrosion. QuietCar is water based and I don't know how porous it is so I didn't want to chance it on the floors. I am using PPG DP40 epoxy primer for my priming. The stuff works good and can be made into a sealer by adding 1/2 reducer, thinning it out. Lot's of people are using Akzo but I wanted to stick with something that was easy to find even if it is a little more expensive. Even though I didn't see a big improvment in using my ceramic paint additive in my tests, I figured I might as well use it as I might not have seen all the benifits. Because of this I used my old HD bought HVLP setup. I didn't want to rish sending the ceramic through my good SATAJet RP2. For my painting air supply I have a cheapy water seperator, then a M-60 "toilet paper" filter, and finally a dessicant filter. This then connects to a dedicated airline for painting. I can't stress enough how important it is to dedicate any lines passed your filters to painting only. It doesn't take much contaminants to screw up a paint job.
