Brief Description:  Mounted some panel components

Even though I didn't post for a couple weeks again I've been doing some things on and off. I started putting together the harness for the transponder and it was my first use of the Raychem Solder Sleeves. These are nifty little things that were recommended a while back at an Airventure seminar. Much to my surprise, Home Depot began carrying Raychem products about a year or so ago including the solder sleeves. The way they work is you put the wires in and then use a heat gun to melt a band of solder incorporated into the splice. At the same time the splice shrinks around the wires so you end up with a very solid and reliable connection. I also mounted the LSE ignition boxes, did some testing on the entertainment configuration, and mounted the AE Fuel Guardian brain box. I'm going to use another product from Aircraft Extras called the AG6 that is the size of a common square warning light but it's also a LCD that can display warnings from multiple inputs. This will reduce panel clutter. I also sent in the Matco parking break valve for the countersink they are now doing to reduce the chance of leaking and mounted it back on with the machined mount I purchased. Lastly I've mounted the various low pressure manifolds for the pitot, static, and manifold pressure. I'll use these to supply individual lines to each device rather than a series of T's or other splices.
