Brief Description:  Began gear leg fitting and engine mount

Lot's done today. For starters I had to put the cowl attach hinges on so I could button up the firewall to fuselage interface. Once the engine mount is on, there is no way to reach some of the rivets. I'm following James installation instructions which recommends a wider set of hinges in addition to a lighter hinge across the top of the cowl to reduce a jigsaw look from the heavier hinge. I also mixed up some proseal and thined it out enough with some Toluene to be able to use a syringe to inject it between the firewall and fuselage flanges prior to riveting. The Proseal I have lives in the freezer and is probably 4 years old but even after thinning it way out and using it in 40-50 degree temps, it is still curing just fine. Once that was done I attached the engine mount for good. I also started the install of three steel eyeball pass throughs for the controll cables as I'm not a fan of the bushing passthrough that Van's suggests. Once that was going I began the gear leg installs. There is a thread on the Matronics list covering some issues with the toe adjustments on the legs as they come from the factory so I will go about making sure they are aligned before I ream those holes for final attach. I also hung the nose gear leg and started getting that ready.
