Brief Description:  Rear window prep and install

Well OSH is over and while I don't know 100% things like paint, interior, and panel, I am much closer and should know in the next month. I do know that the interior will probably be a grey while the paint job will probably be a deep burgundy and probably white, maybe a pearl white just to make painting it myself more of a challenge. Like I need that. So anyway I wanted to get the cabin top back on and get the rear windows in so I can pull it back off and get the head liner in. I have an email to VAN's to see if they see any problem with hanging the engine without the upper forward fuselage deck being in place which will make working on wiring and the panel much easier. For the window install I went with the common method of using aluminum "fingers" to hold the window in place as it set. The Weld-on is very messy stuff and oozes out everywhere so be prepared for that. One thing I didn't expect was the stuff to be stringy and having little strings of Weldon come off of everything as you clean up the excess. These strings will get all over your windows if you are not very careful. The wispy strings will scrape off with your nails once hard but anything of any substance will bond to the window. I did have one little piece do just that. I also had to build back up an area I got a little too aggressive when trimming on the right side. Nothing to bad though.
