Brief Description:  Fabrication of ski racks

So, a few people have been wondering where I've been for a few weeks. Couple of things have taken me away from the project. Unfortunately I lost a very close friend about two weeks ago for unknown reasons. He was 33 and died in his sleep. This alone put me out of commision for a week while I went back to WI to pay my respects. I also am at the point where the two haves are joined. Before I do this I want to take care of a few things in the tail including the battery mount modifications for two PC680's and also my ski rack in addition to the AP pitch servo. Another thing I plan on doing is putting in an access door on the tail skin for ground power and oxygen fill. The eventual oxygen tank will be mounted underneath my shelf modification or on the bulkhead cover. So on to the ski racks. My friends and I love skiing and my wife even enjoys it from time to time. I love the mountains so I plan on taking several trips every year skiing. While renting skiis works I would rather not have that additional expense and I have friends that have their own skiis. So I am making two sets of brackets that will hold up to 4 sets of skiis in the tail. Basically the end of the skiis will slide into the aft mount and then drop into the mid mount which will have a positive clasp or a bungee to hold them in place between the bindings. Lastly the front of the skiis will protrude through a pair of doors in the aft bulkhead cover to add a little more positive lock. They may be able to move a little but there is no why they can get out of the mounts.
