Brief Description:  Riveted together fuselage sections

Well vacation and work have conspired to keep me from making any progress for almost 2 weeks. I took half of last week to do some sking at Vail and Breckenridge and then immediately got sent to Detroit to meet with a customer for a few days. I'm not a fan of Detroit and I have to go back all of next week to meet with a different customer. Oh well. Anyway I was finally able to finish up riveting the two halves together with a little help from my brother-in-law. I also put the spar spacers in place along with bolts. For this I used some 3/8 x 4 1/2 inch bolts to stand in for the smaller bolts. They are slightly (read a thousandths or so) smaller than the close tolerance bolts that will ultimately attach the wing but that's fine for this. Once those were in place I used a single 9/16th close tolerance bolt to make sure everything was good. One thing to mention about the cheapy 3/8 bolts is that they can very in size. In my case most of them had a taper near the head. This is fine as long as you don't pull the taper into the spar and elongate the hole. I could have used the wing bolts all the way around but I would rather beat the hell out of some cheap bolts than the very expensive close tolerance bolts. Also the F1004K side plates really take some fanagling to get everything to line up good. This session was really all about pulling everything into alignment.
