Brief Description:  More work on the fuel lines and some brake work.

Today I was able to start mounting the fuel lines. I fabricated the connector line from the valve body to the fuel filter and also the left side Aeroquip line. I'm using a SS braided Aeroquip -6 hose for the tank runs ala Tim Olson. The -6 (aka 3/8's) aluminum hardline is a bitch to work and even worse in something as tight as the tunnel. I had to drill out the little retaining points in the gear mount bays to 5/8's though along with the four grommets that the line passes through. No biggie and well worth it. Basically I bought 10 feet of -6 Aeroquip hose along with two 45 ends and two straight ends. Also the wings do flex a little and I don't like the idea of anything rigid in a flexing or vibrating environment. I also took the unused facet pump mount and made a parking brake bracket out of it. The Matco parking brake is a direct replacment for the pair of 90's on the firewall making it a no brainer modification. I just need to pick up some one inch SS #8 screws. I also will be putting the floscan transducer in the engine compartment rather than the tunnel. It is recommended to put it in between the distribution servo and the engine pump by pretty much everyone from the engine monitor guys to Airflow Performance. I agree. This lets me remove the stock mount in the tunnel and hopefully be able to locate the transponder antenna there instead.
