Brief Description:  General entry

Well I know I haven't been adding log entries in a while but I have been working on the aircraft. Just haven't been as prolific with my entries as I have been in the past. Just too much going on. So for the last month or so I've been dealing with a lot of little misc items. Spent some time on the cabin top again trying to get that ready to go on. Put a layer of glass around the window frame in an effort to stp the crack everyone sees. I also have been going back and cleaning up some little nagging items. One such thing was the baggage door. Two problems with that were that the hinge was a tiny bit crooked and the door frame had a kink in it from "adjusting". The kink wasn't bad but I decided to replace that section of the frame because I noticed a crack in it. Just started working on that. As for the hinge I replaced the frame that it secured to and did like some others and nutplated the frame so I can screw on the hinge and remove the door if I need to. One of the other things was to remove the port side baggage compartment floor. I did this because I need to run a couple wires underneith for the camera DVR and the baggage compartment light switch. I also eliminated my remainig ski rack attempt in the tailcone and the original baggage tiedowns which allowed me to once again extend the baggage compartment side panels all the way to the floor. The triangle shaped panel on the port side has been reconfigured to allow me to put it on with screws. This is the panel that I mounted the DVR to and also the light switch so I wanted to be able to get behind it. I also have the oxy tank mounted and have placed a number of tie down pads running back to the tail. The plan going forward is to get the baggage compartment put back together once I have the camera and light wires run. I also want to get any other wiring completed back through the tail for things like the ELT and strobe. Oh, I also pulled the 121.5 ELT I had and sold it in preperation for a new 406Mhz ELT. I added Van's strobe bracket to be us
