Brief Description:  Doors fitted and closing mechanisim

Well I got both doors final rough fit. I'll revisit them once the top is on for good. I want to take it back off so I can do some more work on it, put in the headliner, and run as much wiring as I can. The second door went much quicker even though it was the one without the tabs. The door does sit a bit pround on the forward part but I think that its the shape so there isn't much I can do about it now. Once completed and it sit's in the sun with the doors closed, it should reset to a closed door shape from the heat. Getting the doors fitted is a major milestone, even if I have to deal with them again later. The whole cabin top eats easily 1/5th of the total build time in fitting and cleanup of the poor quality. I also spent some time getting the door closing mechanisim in place. I have a set of aftermarket interior handles that are much better looking and maintain the same functionality of the stock handles so I couldn't follow the install exactly. The problem is he modified my stock configuration in order to make thge prototype so mine were completely assembled. The only thing it really affected was getting the center shaft hole match drilled through the door and that wasn't even too bad. I'm also using the rivethead aero exterior handles as I didn't see the point in spending the money on flush.
