Brief Description: Installed the second rear window
Well the second rear window went much better than the first but I guess that is usually the case. Knowing the trouble areas allowed me to do a better job of masking and laying down the bead of Weldon. I also "painted" both surfaces with Weldon before putting the bead down and setting in place to ensure a good wetout of the area.I had much less squeeze out this time also as I smoothed the bead out before placment and wqas able to get rid of the excess beforehand. I didn't shim the windows and as such, I have a couple low spots. I plan on fairing in the window and cabin top with flox to make a smooth transition and help prevent the cracking that so many have seen. Most people recommended a couple layers of glass but I'm hoping flox will do just as well and it should be easier than trying to get BID around all those curves in a 1/2" area.
