Brief Description:  Cowl changes and misc

Over the last 4 days I've reconfigured the cowl by adding back in the piece that was cut off the top and bottom cowl near the firewall interface. While I only need to add 1/2" back in, it is easier to put the entire cutoff back and then refit and trim the cowl. After scarfing both the cutoff and the cowl, I've added about 3 layers of e-glass to the exterior and 4-5 layers of a combination of e-glass and RA7725 to the inside. Both the top and bottom are ready to be refitted and I already have the top cowl in place for rough fit. I have 3D printed a set of blocks to mark the cowl cut line. One block is marking the fuselage back 3" from the intersection by holding a sharpie precisely at the 3" mark. The other block will follow that line to mark the cowl exactly where the fuselage-cowl intersection is.

In addition I have been working on some misc stuff while waiting on the epoxy to cure. I have identified the path for the lower starboard ignition wires and have made a mount for them to keep them secure. I also final installed the oil cooler airflow control valve and the associated actuator for it. I torqued the starboard e-mag so both mags are completely installed now. Lastly I've revisited the rudder trim and I think I have a geometry for that which should minimize the amout of pushrod that is stucking out in the airflow. Once again I have turned to my 3D printer to mock up a connection point to the hinge that acts as the rudder trim. Once I'm happy with it I will send the final version of it to be printed in aluminum.
