Brief Description:  Test fit prop

Since I got the prop back from the TDI and spinner change, I've been concerned that the cowl was coming up short. A half inch short to be exact. I remeber back when I made the spacer to fit the cowl I was trying to decide how much space to leave between the cowl and spinner, but this is way more than I was thinking. The closer the spinner is to the cowl, the better the airflow is so I was targeting about 1/8". When I rechecked measurments in the crate, it was now looking like it was closer to 5/8". Not cool. So I had to finally mount the prop and take a direct measurment. Sure enough, it was 5/8" which is 1/2" more than I wanted. So I could do one of three things. 1) I could just leave it and eat the loss of efficency. Might not actually be much but I don't like that idea. 2) I could build up the front of the cowl to close the space. This would be the easiest way to address the gap. 3) Add 1/2" to the cowl where it meets the firewall. I'm going with #3. While this is going to be a massive PITA, and will likeoly add 50ish hours of work, it is the right answer. Because the space in the cowl is crazy tight, I already have an issue around enough space for the air intake and that extra 1/2" may make a huge difference.
