Well this is my first real expirence with the horrible quality of the Van's stock fairings. The cowl went pretty well, but it's a Showplanes cowl, even as a factory seconds. The main gear fairings were not even close to mating correctly with parts of the fit being out 1/4" on BOTH fairings. Also, how freaking hard would it be top put centerline reference marks in the molds as they do for other things. Oh yeah, that would assume that they are actually roughly close in mating.
