Spent a fair amount of time crawling around in the tailcone which isn't paticular cozy when you are 6'2" and 230#. But it was necessary to get the magnetometer mounted in a place not likely to be influenced by any ferrous metals that could impact it's performance. I used a section of attic ladder I had left over from installing one in my garage. It was the perfect size and shape to make a shelf. I was able to use nothing ferrous to mount it with the exception of having to use LP4 pull rivets which have a steel pull shaft. Most of the shaft breaks off so I should be ok.
