Brief Description:  Brake lines and fuel system

Bounced around a bit today. First I put in place the lights I'm going to use for the baggage area. I'm using those lame accent lights that tuner guys use in their little civics. They are basically 15" neon tubes that emit a soft blue glow. I'm putting two of these in the rear seat cross support and one in the hat shelf. There is a switch in the panel directly forward of the baggage door. I will connect them directly to one battery bus so they will have power no matter what and if I happen to leave them on by mistake, they will only drain one of the two batteries. One of the PC680's by themselves have enough power to crank the engine. I also finished up the brake line runs but I need the parking brake unit which should be here in two days. Word to the wise, the double cushion clamp point on the firewall is very prone to stripping the platenut. I striped it once and nearly a second time. Lastly I started work on the fuel system. Like several others I am using the Andair fuel valve. The stock Van's valve works but it is prone to breakdown and is just too cheesy for me. I also will be using an extension to get it closer to the floor. This will help with the heater tube passing by and also lowers the head of the fuel line.
