Brief Description:  Started on brake lines

Finally started work on the systems. Still have a couple of minor things to do for the access panels but they are waiting on things like a switch and seals. So I ran the brake lines between the gear mount and the tunnel and strarted running them up to the firewall. I am going to use the brake lock that Matco sells and that should be here sometime this week. I am also using DEL washers on the fittings that are in tough plases to get to when finished. These are used on flared fittings as a crush washer and are made out of soft aluminum. When you tighten the fitting down it crushes the washer and all but eliminates any chance for leaks. You can pick these up from Spruce, not cheap though. I also have the Parker Rolo-flare which is an excellent flaring tool. Aviation style "AN" fittings are 37 degree unlike automotive which are 45 degree. You must use a 37 degree flaring tool on all of the AN fittings. Been a while since I did any brake line fabrication but it's not that difficult as long as you make good measurments.
