I decided to go ahead with a new bulkhead cover so I cut it out of some of my left over 025 that I used on the hat shelf. This is the same thickness as the original bulkhead cover and the hat shelf replaces the rigidity lost from no loger having a corregated cover. I still need to split it for the door that will close in the hat shelf. I also decided to put in two access panels in the baggage compart ment floor to store some stuff in the unused space. I fabricated an additional access panel by using the unused one from the stall vane that I didn't use. Lastly I drilled a 1.5 inch hole over the location for the step attach pins and inserted a metal plug. This will allow me to pull off the steps for whatever reason in about 1 minute.
