After trying to wrestle the first wing onto the the fuselage without stands at the correct height, I realized I needed some sawhorses that were the correct height for the wing roots and the wing tips. The height difference between the two is approximately six inches....so it was a trip down to Lowes to get materials for some solid horses. It took me most of the day to build them. They are very solid, though, and will be reusable to install the wings even after I install the landing gear. I'll just have to change the lengths of the legs.
