I haven’t gotten much done on the -7A lately; however, I bought 1/5 share of a Hanger Group LLC and we are building a 60X80 R&M Steel hanger at our local airport. Today our subcontractor finished pouring the foundation and floor footings and we hope to have the building erected within two months. It will have a 48’ Schweiss bifold door which uses lift straps instead of chains or cables and can remotely be raised/lowered. The hanger will be insulated/heated, have LED Lighting, wiring for 110/220V and piped air compressor outlets near each of our aircraft allocated parking locations. We also plan to epoxy the floor. All of the LLC members are either building or refurbishing aircraft. I will, hopefully, have the first flying aircraft by early/late winter. It’s all pretty exciting and I have a lot more motivation to get my -7A into the air.
