Brief Description:  Airflow Performance Fuel Boost Pump Assembly

The Airflow Performance Boost pump assembly requires some pretty complicated tube bending, flaring and coupling fitting assemblies. I have never done any tube bending before and I went through 8 feet of wasted tubing before I finally got these pieces fabricated. The next few pictures will show why this was very difficult. Total time it took me to bend and fit these four tubes was 13 hours. Let me restate that...13 very frustrating hours!!! I hope the rest of the tubing-work for the fuel lines and brake lines goes much better then this did. I now understand why Brian Carroll said," So you've never done any bending before? You know I found this guy who make these really great hoses for the fuel and brake lines and all you have to do is screw the couplings together." What I didn't realize at the time was Brian already went through this effort and he does this sort of thing for a living. He was being very kind...guess he's seen my work up to this point. If I have as much trouble with the rest of the tubing I'm going to call Brian and ask him for the name of the guy who makes the hoses!
