Brian Carroll and his wife Kris came over for dinner the other night and I showed Brian the new fuel selector cover plate I purchased. The problem with the new plate is it is flat on the bottom and won't clear the two bolts that attach the fuel valve selector onto the cover. Brian is really skilled with a lathe and he fabricated this awesome ring which encircles the bolts and selector arm. So now I can set the new selector cover plate flush on the ring. Brian said it was a "piece of cake" but I don't believe a word. The ring fits perfectly and I couldn't have done it in 20 hours..and even after that It would have looked like it was "amature-built". In addition to being one of my best friends, this guy does amazing work. Thanks again, Brian.
