All the previous 26 hours of work was just to drill these two holes in the rear spars (pictures 1 & 2). If you look carefully you can see I had to raise the wings about 1/4" to set the final incidence and thankfully, I have well over the required 5/8 inch clearance all the way around the holes. The angle I shot the first picture makes the hole look like it is off centered...but its not. Also you can see the notch for the common rivet on the first picture, just to the left of the vice grip. Wing sweep and incidence are perfect.
Finally I did a little in the dirt work, had to lay on my back to mark and drill the screw holes for the wing root bottom flanges. I have a nifty little drilling jig I used to drill the remaining holes after I marked and drilled holes on each end and in the center. It works great and is well worth the $35. Later I'll have to dimple and install nutplates centered on these holes, once I remove the wings.
