Brief Description:  Leveling the fuselage to prepare for wing sweep

With the main spars on both wings pinned using the 8 fabricated drift pins I bolted the spars in place using common 7/16" x 5" hardware bolts in the top and bottom of each spar. Then I carefully shimmed the sawhorses under the tail and nose of the fuselage. I also bought a Husky electronic level with an electronic alarm that beeps when the unit is perfectly level. If you are doing this by yourself, it's the only way to go. It's critical to level the fuselage, both laterally and horizontally, using the top surface of the F-718 longerons between F-704 and F-705 as a datum surface.
