Brief Description: Installing the Wheel Pants & U-808 Support Bracket
After the forward and aft wheel pants were mated properly, I drilled and clecoed the fairing halves at the specified locations in preparation for nutplates which get installed later. Next, I installed the outer U-808 Support brackets and made a temporary jig to make sure the aft tip of the wheel pant is 8 5/8” from the imaginary plane at the bottom of the fully inflated tire.
